PanelClaw's design philosophy emphasizes ease of installation. The efficient low part count of each of our systems, and innovative use of factory pre-assembly, significantly reduces array construction time and cost. For example, our Grizzly Bear FR rooftop system incorporates ballast into the racking structure, completely eliminating the time-consuming process of placing ballast blocks throughout an array. Other notable timesaving features include pre-assembled electrical ground lugs, integrated roof protection pads, and wire management chases.
PV systems have an expected lifetime of at least 20 years and periodic maintenance is essential. Arrays built with PanelClaw mounting systems are easy to maintain, significantly reducing maintenance expenses. Our single module tilt-up feature simplifies the replacement of individual PV modules and provides easy access to roof drains and membranes. Furthermore, all of our systems are designed to minmize footprints to facilitate the natural flow of water and reduce associated maintenance.
When it is time to remove your PV arrays, PanelClaw's mounting systems also simplify end-of-life decommissioning. Our ballasted rooftop systems often require no roof penetration and our ground mount system typically do not require heavy excavation equipment or pouring of concrete footings. These unique low-impact features expedite array disassembly and land reclamation.
