PanelClaw delivers mounting and balance-of-system solutions to accelerate the adoption of photovoltaics worldwide. In achieving this mission, we are guided by our unwavering commitment to four core values: lowest life-cycle cost, cutting-edge engineering, world-class service, and environmental responsibility.
We pride ourselves on the innovation we bring to solar mounting systems and on the benefits that cutting-edge engineering affords our customers. PanelClaw is the first company to bring to market solar mounting solutions with only three parts and a fully non-penetrating system with factory-installed, integrated ballast and a built-in roof protection pad. Innovation inspires every detail of our designs.
PanelClaw's exceptional team of engineers has extensive experience in mechanical, aerospace, and materials science engineering, and brings both hands-on and theoretical experience to every project. Our focus on engineering innovation is driven by one simple objective: to save our customers time and money without sacrificing the quality of our product.
We design for long life and make safety and reliability top priorities. All PanelClaw products go through extensive engineering analysis and modeling, followed by wind-tunnel and in-field testing, prior to being released commercially:
We begin with state-of-the-art 3D design and simulation software packages, and employ advanced analysis techniques like Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Elements Analysis.
After successful computational validation, every solar mounting product undergoes wind-tunnel testing at the Wind Engineering and Fluids Laboratory at Colorado State University, one of the U.S. leaders in this field.
Finally, we construct full-size commercial prototypes for every solar mounting product and submit them to extensive physical and in-field testing by experienced installers.
Through collaboration with top technicians, PanelClaw's engineers are able to develop the next generation of solar mounting solutions.
PanelClaw believes in the independent certification of its products. In addition to independent wind-tunnel testing, we work with third-party engineering firms, licensed professional and structural engineers, and leading laboratories and certification organizations, such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to ensure that the highest safety and reliability design standards are met. In the spirit of openness and collaboration with our customers, we also share our testing information. Transparency of engineering data is at the heart of PanelClaw’s business philosophy.
